Stars du soir: la PETITE LANGE 1 « Soirée » et la CABARET « Soirée »

Difficile, pour les femmes cosmopolites, de choisir entre la ronde PETITE LANGE 1 « Soirée » et la rectangulaire CABARET « Soirée ». En dépit de matières identiques, les deux modèles « Soirée » offrent chacun une version différente de l'élégance habillée. Les montres partagent l'éclat chaleureux d'un boîtier en or 18 carats rehaussée d'une lunette savamment sertie de diamants de taille brillant (52 pour la PETITE LANGE 1 et pas moins de 70 pour la CABARET). Aiguilles et appliques en or rose créent une note contrastée très esthétique. La grande date Lange avec guichet en or rose attire et séduit l'oeil. Et l'élégance distinctive des deux modèles « Soirée » se voit délicatement soulignée par un bracelet en cuir de raie noisette, matière souple dont la période Art déco prisait fort la structure perlée. La boucle en or rose massif met un comble au raffinement de l'ensemble.
En dépit d'un diamètre boîtier de seulement 36 millimètres, la PETITE LANGE 1 « Soirée » bénéficie de tous les attributs de la LANGE 1: le mouvement de manufacture exclusif, calibre L901.4, avec double barillet et indicateur de réserve de marche de plus de trois jours. Le coeur rectangulaire de la CABARET « Soirée » qui est adapté au boîtier est également fabriqué en interne chez Lange et lui aussi revêtu de tous les attributs traditionnels d'une authentique montre A. Lange & Söhne: le fond en verre saphir, sécurisé par six vis, révèle le magnifique mouvement de forme, calibre L931.4.

It will be difficult for the cosmopolitan woman to make a choice between the LITTLE LANGE 1 “Soirée” and the rectangular CABARET “Soirée”. Despite identical materials, the two “Soirées” are formally distinctive. What they share is the warm glow of the 18- carat pink gold case crowned by the panache of consummately set brilliants on the bezel – 52 in the LITTLE LANGE 1 and even 70 in the CABARET. The brilliant-set bezels eloquently frame the black iridescence of the mother-of-pearl facing on the solid-silver dials – asymmetrically laid out in the LITTLE LANGE 1, rectangular and strictly symmetric in the CABARET. Pink-gold hands and appliques create an aesthetically convincing contrast in both models. The Lange outsize date with pink-gold aperture surrounds is another eye-catcher. And the overall appearance of both “Soirées” is exquisitely accented with a chestnut strap in ray leather: due to its pearly structure, this supple material was already coveted during the art deco period. The buckle in solid pink gold is the perfect finishing touch.

Despite the fact that its case diameter is only 36 millimetres, the LITTLE LANGE 1 “Soirée” is endowed with all the features that define the LANGE 1: the exclusive L901.4 manufacture movement with a twin mainspring barrel and a powerreserve indicator of more than three days. The rectangular heart of the CABARET “Soirée” is crafted in-house by Lange as well. In horological terms, it is also vested with all of the attributes that constitute a genuine A. Lange & Söhne watch: the sapphirecrystal caseback, secured with six screws, sets a magnificent stage for the calibre L931.4 form movement.
